The Ocean Pavilion is organised by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego, two marine research institutions. Its fifth edition runs in the Blue Zone under the theme Convergence, linking the climate, ocean, biodiversity and sustainable development agendas. At COP30 in Belém the same two institutions hosted more than sixty events and produced the Belém Ocean Declaration.
