YÖK, the Council of Higher Education, is the statutory body overseeing Türkiye's 208 universities. Its chairman Erol Özvar announced on 4 August 2026 that YÖK will set up a pavilion at COP31 where Turkish and international scientists share research, form teams and develop joint project ideas.
