The Zero Waste Foundation was established in 2023 to spread and sustain Türkiye's Zero Waste Project, the national programme launched by Emine Erdoğan in 2017. She is its honorary president and chairs the UN Advisory Board on Zero Waste. The foundation runs a COP31 coordination platform and the Zero Waste Forum. Its pavilion has three stages plus information, exhibition and working spaces for the full fortnight.
