A pavilion is a space inside the Blue Zone that an organisation leases and programmes itself, running its own sessions for the full two weeks, separate from the official negotiations.
Countries run them, so do UN agencies, research institutions, business groups and thematic coalitions. Each host decides its own programme, which is why there is no single published schedule and why the sessions are so hard to follow.
Between 100 and 150 pavilions ran at COP30. For Antalya we are tracking 42 so far. The volume inside one of them is easy to underestimate: the Cryosphere Pavilion alone plans more than seventy side events, six or seven every day.
