When is COP31 and where is it being held?

The short answer

COP31 runs from 9 to 20 November 2026 at the Antalya EXPO Center in Antalya, Türkiye.

The World Leaders Summit sits on 11 and 12 November, the third and fourth days. That is unusual: most COPs put the leaders segment on the opening day. Planning a trip around the leaders means arriving for the middle of the first week, not the start.

Türkiye holds the presidency and Australia leads the formal negotiations, an arrangement the two countries settled during COP30 after both had bid to host.
