This event will explore the centrality of the right to benefit from science and its application to effective climate action. It will examine the latest climate science affirming the effectiveness of a human rights-based approach and how science should inform the GST, BTRs and just transition. Speakers: A diverse range of speakers representing UN organisations, scientific institutions, States and key elements of the environmental justice movement will be considered. Gender and geographic balance and experiential diversity will be prioritised.
